Dayton St. Properties Receive Design Approval

Sherwin-Williams Historical Pallette Will Make Homes Very Attractive

On November 1, 3rd Silo Properties submitted a rendering of the properties at 914 and 916 Dayton Street to the City of Hamilton’s Architetural Design Review Board(ADRB), and we are excited to announce approval of the first set exterior improvements we will be making to the properties.

It is the responsibility of the ADRB to review the plans, monitor the work, and administer the Architectural Conservation/Historic District section of the Hamilton City Zoning Ordinance.

Changes to 914 Dayton Street

914 Dayton Street Before and After

This property has been vacant for several years, and subsequently, it has experienced significant decay. The initial phase of this restoration is to restore the exterior of the home before winter sets in. This includes removing the vinyl siding from the rear of the home and replacing it with historically appropriate cedar siding.

Damaged Vinyl Siding

Damaged and rotting soffits will be repaired and replaced to match the rest of the house. Rotted Soffit

With the help of Tammy Snyder of TAMZ Construction, we chose to paint the home using colors from Sherwin-Williams historic palette.
